Mcafee – White Page Fix:
· Open
Internet Explorer & Check IE Version.
· If
its IE9 or IE8, Check Cipher Strength of IE.
· To
check, On Menu Bar, Click on HELP > Then, select About Internet Explorer
> A new Dialog Box will open with Heading, About Internet Explorer
· If
the Version, Cipher Strength, Product ID: are blank (Snapshot),
then follow these steps.

For
IE9 follow steps below; for IE8 go to Step 4.
1.
Un-install
IE9 via Control Panel > Uninstall a Program > View Installed Updates
2. Restart the system & System
will now have IE8 and Version, Cipher Strength, Product ID, if
these are still blank, then.
3. Run Ms Fixit - http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9657448
& Restart the system.
4. Open IE, & check Version,
Cipher Strength, Product ID, these fields should be filled with some values.
5. Now, Open Mcafee & Check.
6. If Mcafee still opens Blank White
Page, then,
7. Update Java to the latest version
& Restart the system
8. If still the Java Update, Mcafee
opens Blank White Page, then try following Fixes.

Save
Patch file, http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/mcscriptfix.zip
·
Unzip
the downloaded file & Open the new folder.
·
Right-click
mcscriptfix.bat and select Run as Administrator.
·
As
this script runs, a black CMD.EXE (DOS Prompt) window opens. When
prompted, Press any key to continue... and the CMD.EXE window will
close.
·
Restart
the system and now Mcafee should work fine.

Click
Start and select the Search box.
·
Type
cmd & Right-click and select Run as Administrator.
·
Type
each of the following commands and press ENTER after each one. After each command has run, you see
a success or failure message:
regsvr32 scrrun.dll
regsvr32 jscript.dll
regsvr32 vbscript.dll

Restart
the system and now Mcafee should work fine.
