Internet Explorer issue, IE8 or IE9 displays blank pages...

Internet explorer issues are the most common issues that we face today with Windows 7.
Out-of-those Common Issue, One of the most Annoying issue is the one where, some of the Websites open fine and some do not open at all.
This issue can be seen with the system that have Internet Explorer 8 or 9 versions and the most common websites that do not open are Facebook.com, Yahoo.com, its mail service, or certain banking websites and mail clients sites.
I have come across this issues on many systems now and when we open the same websites that do not open on IE, on Firefox, Chrome, Safari or any other Web Browser, these webistes or in-fact all the websites can be accessed without any problem.


Solution to fix this issue:


1. Open IE 8 or 9, On Menu Bar, Click on HELP.
2. Then, select About Internet Explorer.
3. A new Dialog Box will open with Heading, About Internet Explorer
    If the Version, Cipher Strength, Product ID: are blank, then follow these steps.
    [For every such scenario till date, I have always came across these fields to be blank]

4. Now, we will need to Uninstall the currently installed IE from the system and before we do that Mozilla Firefox needs to be installed first.
5. If you are unable to download the firefox via http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/, download the Firefox via http://www.filehippo.com/download_firefox/ and it should get installed fine.
6. Now, Un-install IE9 or IE8 via Control Panel >> Uninstall a Program >> View Installed Updates
7. Now, We will get the option Uninstall an Update.
8. Click on Name header and the updates will arrange alphabetically under the category of Updates they belong to.
9. Under Microsoft Windows, you will the update listed for IE9 or IE8, right click on it and select Uninstall and then restart the system.
10.  Download IE9 or IE8 via, http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie and after the installation gets finished, restart the system.
11. After the system gets restarted, Open IE, again click on Help, then about Internet Explorer, then About Internet Explorer. Now, the Version, Cipher Strength, Product ID, these fields should be filled with some values and that is confirmation that IE is working fine and now you should be able to access all the websites without any hassle on IE.


If still, IE isn't working correctly, then run this Ms Fixit, http://go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9657448 via Microsoft Support, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/902932 and should repair the IE files.

Note : Above mentioned Solution is mentioned as per my research, there can be an alternate way to resolve, however, on all the systems where I have come across this issue, this solution has worked all the time for me.
